With poor surface preparation nothing short of a God like intervention/miracle can help. However, with proper prep procedures and a bullet proof product any bathtub can become a brand new piece of furniture again!
MD  Most Coating companies make there products so they just barely work coupled with walking a fine line of cost effectiveness. Usually more then most time the factor of greed and cost effectiveness wins out and the general consumer is left out to fry.
My person experience with a large coatings company like NAPCO ltd. They only care about profit and sales. I personally know of another refinisher that had to do 60 tubs over again because NAPCO ltd product failed. Did they do anything to make it right with that client??? Nope, they hung him out to dry just like me. Thank god we as professional refinishers have more integrity then them!!! Our customers always receive top notch services no matter what, they had a true reliable system installed on there tub and if that fails in the future we will be there to back them regardless if our suppliers fail us. That's the trade mark of a true journey-man with real integrity!!! MD Look at how our world will be changing over the next 15 years plus!
The entire structure of our world economy is transforming, where will you be? Some days you wish you could do this to some people!

If you are a refinisher and have experienced this you know that it can be totally disheartening! This is why you never use a premixed bonding agent! Dull/etched surface with proper priming and hardened top coat resins is the most reliable refinishing system! I removed and installed a traditional prime, topcoat resin system in only 5 hrs (stripping failed coating included). A product manufacturer tried to bribe me on a new system, looks like they need more research & development on there product. My customer came first regardless. Once I got the call that the product failed I was there with in 48 hrs to install my proven system that I have used for years with no failures. I certainly stand behind all our work, Just ask these customers, they were ecstatic at my lightning fast response. I consider it only doing what is right. My customers needs always come first! |
